Job Description:
Responsibilities
- CNC Machining knowledge and programming background using CAD/CAM systems Catia or Bravo.
- Able to utilize the computer to create part geometry and subsequently develop turning and milling CNC programs.
- Defines special tooling requirements and fixtures as required.
- Write and optimize CNC programs to create complex parts on 3 and 4 axis machining centers.
- Develop work holding and select cutting tools.
- Create and compile necessary documents to aid setting up machines.
- Write CNC programs for 2 axis lathes.
Requirements
- Ideally have 5 years of experience as CNC Programmer. Candidates with 3–5 years of experience may be considered if they demonstrate strong skills.
- Familiar with commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within metal fabrication environment.
- Experience in using CATIA or BRAVO software.
- Proficient with GD&T.
